January Newsletter

Happy 2008!  I hope everyone is getting back to a normal schedule.  I almost have all my Christmas decorations put away but it is hard to stay in the house when it is 60 degrees outside.  I want to play around with my horses all day!

Our pig was born Dec. 24th.  We are going to get her this week.  She is a miniature pot-belly and as cute as a pig can be.  I will post pictures after we bring her home.  Please come and see her.  She is going to be lonely without her siblings and momma.  But don’t bring too many treats – they grow proportionally to what they eat.

 Valentine’s Day Couples Ride – February 16th – 2:00 – 4:00!  Bring your sweetheart and join us for an hour as we mosey along the trails and then return to the barn to gather around the fire pit to enjoy snacks and refreshments.  Cost is $70.00 per couple.

February 18th is our 1st Gymkhana – games on horse back.  Anyone can ride!  I will have spotters for the little kids to help them safely on and off the horses.  Cost is $25.00. per rider  Times are 1:00 to 5:00.  Please RSVP by January 25th with T-shirt sizes. 

 February 20th is  High Horse Wednesday.  Cost is $50.00 per rider.  Time:  9:00 to 4:00.  We will ride, play games, do crafts, a cowboy/girl cookout and all the other great things we do on our Fun Days. 

Sundays 2:00 to 4:00 are our schedule trail rides!  Don’t miss your chance to see the Elves at work and find the lucky horse shoe.  Cost is $35.00 per rider.
