Rabbits, Rabbits, Rabbits

Have you heard this saying?  If on March 1st, the first words your utter are Rabbits, Rabbits, Rabbits  you will have good luck all year!  Did you say it?  We did!

Meet Oni, Ian’s new barrel horse.  He is not as cute as Preacher but he is so much faster.  Oni, is a Paint, Dun, Quarter Horse cross which makes him PDQ.

Congratulations, to Holly and Caroline, the new owners of Rocky.  I put Rocky and Preacher up for sale, wanting to buy a reining horse for myself.  Holly has been working and leasing Rocky for the last year.  I know they will take good care of him and he is staying at the farm so I can still love on him. 

Peanut, our pig,  is huge.  He is close to 15 lbs and now living at the barn.  He has made friends with most of the horses but a few think he is a horse eater.  Hunter and Daryl, the two biggest horses I have at the barn are the most terrified of him.  I guess it is true what they say about the biggest of men being the biggest of babies!

Trail Rides:  I had scheduled a trail ride for March 23rd but now realize that is Easter! So, I am going to change the camp I had set up for April’s Spring Break.  We will do a Trail Ride on Wed. the 9th from 2:00 to 4:00 and a Fun Day on Monday the 7th, 9:00 to 4:00.  The cost for the trail ride is $35.00 and the cost for the Fun Day is $50.00. 

If you are interested in signing up for summer camps please let me know.  I advertised in Atlanta Parent and am getting tons of calls and inquiries and don’t want any of my regular students to miss out!

We are getting ready to start the vaulting team back up!  Cost is $25.00 a lesson and hopefully, this year Ms. Annette will be able to find some competitions.  If you are interested please let me know.  I will post a day and time for practice!

4-H club!  If anyone is interested in doing 4-H please let me know.  We are kicking around the idea of doing some type of 4H program with the kids.  I will find out more once I see what the interests are!
