Back to horseback riding lessons in Dallas, Ga though…

We came home from Perry Ga with a State trophy. Riders and horses did really awesome and our stalls were the best decorated! The theme was "just another dirty barn girl/boy" and the kids worked hard to make posters, silhouettes, and pictures. They are hung in the barn as proud tribute to all their diligent work!

I want to thank everyone who came out for "muck day" to help clean up the barn. We worked all morning and rode all afternoon. I didn’t think the riding ring could hold so many horses at one time without a major collision.

I am planning on attending the next Cobb County 4-H meeting, which will be the 1st week of October so that we can get started. I will post and contact everyone who emailed me about 4-H and set up a meeting for the middle of October. I have had several people interested in getting the vaulting team up and running again. Please email me with a day and time that would best work for you so that Annette and I can get that scheduled. I want to welcome two new horses to the farm. Callie, an ex polo horse, who is very sweet and belongs to a 9 year old little girl. And Dusty, a very handsome Buckskin. I hope everyone is adjusting to school and Fall! Happy Trail, The Phillips
