Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a great holiday season! We sure did! Many thanks for all my wonderful Christmas presents. I think everyone wants me fat! We still have cookies and candies on our kitchen counter.
The barn is full and our lesson program is awesome. We have 18 students signed up for RIFNA and hopefully all will be qualified for Regionals this Spring. Our next meet is January 28th & 29th at In Your Dreams Farm. We will host a meet February 28th.
January 16th we have our first Fun Day of the year! 9:00 to 3:00 – $45.00 for lesson students and $55.00 for non-lesson students.
Our Drill Team is picking back up and hopefully, when we have a Spring Fundraiser we will be able to perform. Very excited about this.
Congratulations to all my NWGHA Riders! We have one more show this season then it is off to Perry, Ga for the State Show Labor Day weekend! Kylie is tearing it up in Queen, Western Pleasure, Halter and Horsemanship. Emily won her Equitation Class! Preacher and I won our reining class!
This coming weekend is the PCSC running show! We are taking 8 riders and trying to claim the youth and adult Buckle series! Turn and Burn!

Kerry found a handsome Morgan named Comet and she and Savannah are excited about their first jumping/dressage/pleasure class!
Magic is visiting and for sale. If you are looking for a great trail horse come take a look at him!
Val has been sold and is happy at her new home with the Rockdale Trail Blazers! We miss her but glad she is doing so well for her new owners!
The ducks and geese have been busy and there are babies everywhere! But they are growing up fast so if you want to see them you better hurry!

We spent last week in Florida (it was our Christmas gift to ourselves) and thoroughly enjoyed getting away. Even though it was cold and a bit wet, we still had a great time.

It sure felt like it today… And tomorrow will be in the 70′s for the first show of the season. Shelly is taking Kylie and Kayla to Wild Horse Park tomorrow for the first 4H show!

Spring Break Camp!
If you have been putting off deciding about Spring Break Riding camp I wouldn’t wait much longer. I guess the nice weather has everybody thinking about it and we had two more signups today which doesn’t leave too many spots left!
Someone said the paypal button was not working for taking payments and deposits here so we redid it and added the ability to pay in full or the remainder.
The weather is bringing out the parties as well. Please mention us if you have friends looking for something really fun and different for a birthday party. For $250 we supply 2 horses for an hour and the conference room for an hour for up to 18 kids. Better than that cheesy place!
Gotta go get the mower ready!

This is our 25th Valentine’s day since we got married – and the first one in a long time with snow on the ground!
Ryan, although sick all week, somehow miraculously got well in time to snowboard with a feed bag!
During the coldest week in remembered history, the lake froze solid enough to walk across.
Add that to a three year drought, then the worst flooding last year in hundreds of years…
We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We sure did! My Mom and dad came over from Asheville and my Mom did all the cooking! It was very yummy!
And what a beautiful weekend! I was able to get most of the Christmas decorations up in and around the barn, which is a good thing because the barn Christmas party is Friday night! Speaking of Christmas, we are offering several great opportunities for horse lovers!
1. Every Wednesday in December we will be offering Mother’s Morning Out from 9:00 to 12:00, ages 3 to 5. Moms get your shopping done while we entertain your little ones with crafts, pony rides, games and lots of fun in a safe and clean family run farm. $25.00 per child. Congratulations, to all the Paulding County Saddle Club riders. We had a great season and finished with a bang. Holly and Rocky took first place in there English Pleasure class and Equitation class. Chloe and Cody, Kylie and Preacher, Kayla and Midnight, Channing and Hunter, Gabe and Hunter, Emily and Digger, Morgan and Digger, Ellie and Midnight, Marley and Callie and Lindsay and Scout all came home with ribbons and lots of them!
We want to welcome Rascal and the Flint family to HCS. Rascal is a 3 year old TB and very cute! He came from Cedar Crest Stables and Heather, who takes Thoroughbreds from the race tracks and finds them new homes.
We also want to welcome Red, a Tennessee Walker, who does field trials with dogs, a very interesting sport. You gotta love those Walkers!
