A big thank you to everyone who came out this past weekend to support Kayla and Haley. We had an awesome turn-out and the weather couldn’t have been more beautiful. It was really nice to see a lot of old friends and catch up!

Even the horses helped with the cause!

Summer camps are quickly filling up! Please let me know if you would like to reserve a spot. We have combined the July 8th to 12th camp to make it beginner to Advanced, having the beginners ride together and the more advanced riders ride together. These camps are packed with lots of fun, riding instruction, crafts and team building, so don’t miss out.

Ian and Preacher their first year running.

We are very proud of our son, Ian, who started on the farm with us when he was 12. July 23rd he leaves for Texas, and the Air Force to start his training as a Combat Controller. He has helped us grow the farm and we will miss him more than words can say and very, very proud of him!

Hard to believe Spring is just around the corner. Can’t complain too much about the winter – it has been pretty mild, enough rain to bring the lake back up and have the creeks running again.

Cowgirl is growing up!

Keep your fingers crossed! We have rescheduled our annual barn show for February 2nd. Show starts at 11:00. We will have our beginner rider classes, followed by our advanced Western Ranch Horse classes and will finish the show with our advanced English riders and Jumpers. We will have snacks, pizza for lunch and drinks. Spectators are welcome :)

February 18th we will celebrate Presidents with a RIFNA show at the farm. Show will start at 10:00.

February 23rd we are back at In Your Dreams Farm for a RIFNA show.

Update on the horses! Midnight is still as majestic as always. Cody has found his calling as a ranch horse. Chance has learned to pick up his feet while jumping and has turned out to be a very cute English mover. Preacher has been retired to trail work and the occasional running show – his hocks just aren’t what they used to be. Dallas is just fun, fun, fun to ride and excels in English and Western classes. We are so proud of Cowgirl and how versatile she has become, from reining, to ranch horse to jumper. Digger is just Digger and still the little kids favorite. Rosie has filled out and loves jumping and English. On January 1st Hunter turned 32 and has earned his retirement. It will not be the same without the old man around the farm but he will be able to finish out his days with lots of loving from children in need.

All the other farm animals are doing well and would love some extra treats if anyone would like to stop by for a visit!

Unfortunately – we have had to postpone the show scheduled for today to February 2. Although we were in perfect shape last night – it rained much of the night. (Doesn’t mother earth listen to the weather channel??)

We appreciate your support in these difficult times! And we will see you Feb 2!
