The weather has definitely turned and it is quite a bit colder this week.   The horses’ coats are getting thicker every day!
Shelly and Ian have gone to her parents house in North Carolina for the weekend as her Mom contracted pneumonia (she is getting better).

We spent last week spreading 2 tons of processed, organic chicken manure fertilizer on all the pastures – and then we spread about twice that much compost. Look for some very nice grass in the spring!
