Home and Horse Business For Sale
“Even in This Market – We Underpriced it!”

Since announcing we were selling our business, home, vehicles and everything else except the kids we have had many, many comments.

Some good – some let’s just call different. (like the lesson kids who are putting hexes on me for moving!)

Some people are excited for us, some jealous and most want to come visit us on the sailboat somewhere in a tropical paradise.

And to be truthful, sure we will miss the farm, the horse and all the friends we have made here over the years.

Girsl in the sunset

But our kids are getting older and we want to show them what the world looks like from the deck of a small sailboat before they go off to their own lives!

Grounds and barn

In the last eight years we have done what many only dream of. We bought some land and built a beautiful horse farm and solid business. When we began we knew nothing about horses, training, lessons, or even about building barns!

Now we can offer a unique house and an income producing property all set up, on 10 acres of beautiful land with it’s own lake, close in to Atlanta. (NW Atlanta serving Kennesaw, Acworth and Dallas)

HCS Sigh

We are looking for a particular person or family.

  • You want to live in the country but not too far from the city.
  • You want your kids to feel safe where they live and have room to run and play.
  • You want a lake by your house with the fishing and wildlife that comes with it.
  • You want a place to put your horse, or horses so you can spend as much time with them as possible.
  • And you want your property to produce an income that will at minimum pay the mortgage (and maybe even more!)
  • You might even have thought about running a horse stables yourself but are not sure how to go about it…

You should look at High Country Stables.

We have priced the stables to sell quickly to the right person. (With enough down payment, we might consider holding the mortgage)And we have also arranged the offering to fit your dreams. Take what you need – all the way to a fully turn key income producing business!

Two years ago an appraiser valued the land and buildings alone at $475,000. This did not include rental income, stables income, irrigation, fencing, tractors, trailers, tools, horses, tack, etc.

Now is the time to own your dream!

I challenge you to find…

  • Fully operational, profitable horse business
  • New – not old buildings
  • Everything required to continue the business (if you want)
  • Beautiful 2 acre stocked lake
  • Fastest growing area of Atlanta
  • Close to I75 and town
  • Top notch marketing including popular website and customer mailing list
  • Apartment rental income

“So If It’s So Dang Good – Why Are You Selling!”
Actually it is very simple. We have two sons we want to spend more time with. So we are going to find a catamaran sailboat and go cruising! Our 18 year old son wants to get a spot to the US Naval Academy in Annapolis Maryland and if we don’t go soon he can’t go with us.

Please send me additional information. I can’t wait to tell my husband about this. We currently live in North Florida, on 11 acres. I don’t like the location. We wanted to get a bigger piece of land, but with the economy as it is…..well you know. I am a teacher, and would rather work full time with my horses, I have seven of my own.

Do the employees remain with the business, and is it already in operation, with a budget, a plan, and a steady income. I would love more information. This looks perfect for a teacher who because of a tendancy of catching every bug the kids bring to school, is not currently very happy with her vocation, and is the healthiest, and happiest when working with her horses!!! My husband wants to also expand to alplaca, and with your setup, I don’t think it would be a problem to use a small portion for this. They don’t take much room.

How close are you to Altanta. The pictures look as though you are to the north, where it starts to get hilly, a very beautiful location. Please write to me with additional information at zalabackp@yahoo.com

You have my interest in the horse farm. I will continue to read the info in this article. I am a “horse person” and you seem to be leaving my dream. We live in a rural area and have three horses on our farm, but no real market for a business. I am a 100% land lubber myself and cannot imagine leaving a horse farm, but greatly admire your free spirit. It is intriguing and enviable to know of someone with the guts to pursue dreams and follow their hearts where ever that may lead. I wish you the very best on your new adventure. I would like to make your previous adventure my new one.

Is the property still for sale? We are currently in the process of selling our home heating business in New York State and looking to relocate to your area. My wife and daughter have been working on a horse farm and taking lessons here. We would like more information. For starters, what town are you located in, and where in relation to Atlanta? You can contact us by phone or e-mail.

Thanks,
Steve and Mary Keck
