HCS Christmas Party
About 60 people showed up for the annual HCS Christmas party with lots of food and fun. There was a huge rugby game in the ring, and music by the fire… A good time was had by all! Thanks for coming!
We are looking for warmer weather next week – time to fix all the broken water pipes!

Happy Fall!although the weather doesn’t seem to be cooling off now that September has arrived! And I need everyone to do a rain dance! All our beautiful pastures are starting to look a little brown around the edges.

Welcome Maverick – isn’t he beautiful! Maverick has done it all from the big time Racking Shows to exploring Ga’s trails! He is owned by Sherle, who also has Val. Val has been in training with us for 7 months and is ready for her first show September 25th!

It sure felt like it today… And tomorrow will be in the 70′s for the first show of the season. Shelly is taking Kylie and Kayla to Wild Horse Park tomorrow for the first 4H show!
Next week is Paulding County Saddle Club’s first show!
Spring Break Camp!
If you have been putting off deciding about Spring Break Riding camp I wouldn’t wait much longer. I guess the nice weather has everybody thinking about it and we had two more signups today which doesn’t leave too many spots left!
Someone said the paypal button was not working for taking payments and deposits here so we redid it and added the ability to pay in full or the remainder.
The weather is bringing out the parties as well. Please mention us if you have friends looking for something really fun and different for a birthday party. For $250 we supply 2 horses for an hour and the conference room for an hour for up to 18 kids. Better than that cheesy place!
Gotta go get the mower ready!

After 5 weeks of ground work, Val is ready for her first ride!

This is our 25th Valentine’s day since we got married – and the first one in a long time with snow on the ground!
Ryan, although sick all week, somehow miraculously got well in time to snowboard with a feed bag!
During the coldest week in remembered history, the lake froze solid enough to walk across.
Add that to a three year drought, then the worst flooding last year in hundreds of years…
February 15th – Fun Day – 9:00 to 1:00! The first person to email me gets to come for free!
Meet Freddy, the newest addition to the HCS family! He is very friendly and loves his carrots, celery and to be scratched behind his ears. He’s not quite as cute as Peanut but comes a close second!
We want to welcome Sugar and Grace to the barn. Sugar is a 7 year old Tennessee Walking Horse and in training with Shelly! She is very fun to ride as long as nobody pops up with a baseball cap! Watch for our next video!
Val, is another Tennessee Walker, who joined the farm just last week. Val, is also in training and owned by Sherle. Val is only 4 and very silly on windy days!
One more month of cold, rainy, weather and it will be Spring and Show Season. Our first Drill Team meeting went great and we are really excited to put the music and pattern together. Our first show is schedule for March 20th at Wild Horse Park!
